Production process

Vinification

Alcoholic fermentation and maceration in temperature-controlled cement vats for about 15 days. Malolactic fermentation in used French oak barriques.

Ageing

Barrique for about 12 months, 50% new and 50% second passage

Bottle ageing

6-8 months

Tasting Notes

Ruby red in colour, pale, clear and bright. On the nose, notes of red rose petals, wild strawberry, cassis and spices. Silky and enveloping tannins.

Pairing

Ideal with noble poultry dishes, or with medium-aged cheeses and truffle dishes.
